Hi, I'm Matilda Ipeh Anashie
I'm a Nigerian Product Design Lead with 6+ years of experience designing AI, fintech, creator economy, SaaS, and Web3 products across Africa, Asia, and Europe.
My background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Telecommunications Engineering shapes how I work: understanding complex systems, finding the human problem within them, and building clear, trustworthy products. I currently lead product design for MUST Company’s Blockchain and User Experience Innovation Design team, guiding a four-designer team across two Web3 products, their websites, and a shared token ecosystem. I also introduced design-system and AI-assisted workflows that improved design-to-development handoff by 40%.
Beyond product work, I co-founded Canann Impact Foundation, contribute to open-source technology through Outreachy and ODK-X, and support the design community through mentorship, writing, and speaking.

Leading product design across two Web3 products and a shared token ecosystem.
The ecosystem’s primary fintech app and the main entry point into the MSQ Design System. Shares wallet and transaction patterns with SuperTrust and supports KWT as a tradable asset.

Lead product design across Global MSQ and SuperTrust while giving the KWT token ecosystem one coherent experience across apps and websites.
Global MSQ and SuperTrust shared the same ecosystem. Their experiences did not yet behave like it.
MUST Fintech’s ecosystem includes two Web3 products: Global MSQ and SuperTrust. Each has an app and website. KWT is a tradable token available within both products and supported by its own website — not a third standalone product.
Despite that shared infrastructure, each product’s wallet connection, transaction signing and gas estimation flows had been designed independently — different copy, different error states, different visual treatment for the same underlying action.
In December 2025, I was promoted to Product Design Lead for the Blockchain and User Experience Innovation Design team (BLK-UXI), expanding my responsibility from individual execution to systems, team direction and design quality across the ecosystem.
The team now uses Claude and Codex for AI-assisted product work, with Google Stitch supporting visual ideation. The AI-Native Design playbook provides the shared process for grounding generated work in existing product evidence.
Redesigned for trust — the front door to a Web3 ecosystem.
Before a user connects a wallet, they encounter a website. I independently led the redesign of Global MSQ, SuperTrust and KWT — clarifying each proposition and creating a more credible entry point into the wider ecosystem.

From a generic crypto template to a product that reads as trustworthy.
The same flows — wallet, trade, airdrop —
follow one interaction standard across both products.
Global MSQ and SuperTrust now share the same approach to connecting wallets, signing transactions, estimating gas, transferring assets, managing holdings and claiming airdrops. KWT is traded through those existing product flows rather than through a separate embedded experience.

Account, payment and security settings share one structure across Global MSQ and SuperTrust — so connected wallets, bank accounts and termination flows behave identically wherever you are.
A credit platform
that travels in your pocket.
The SUT mobile app extends the same transaction and asset patterns to a global blockchain credit platform — transparent trading and earn-and-utilise flows, all on the shared backbone.
The highest-leverage design work wasn’t a single screen — it was creating shared wallet and transaction patterns across two apps while giving four designers a clearer standard to build from. Standardising gas estimation, signing and confirmation states created more room for the decisions that still require judgement: trust, risk and product context.
